Bike shows and Baja

Its been a busy few weeks around here, straight to Taiwan after Interbike to check on the progress of new projects. Then we had the Revolution Bike Fest and then a few days in south of the border in Baja.

The Revolution Bike Fest was a little quiet, but still a great event for its first year. I ran a couple of intro to Bikepacking clinics, talked bikes and met some great people. Next year will be even better!

But wait....Did I hear you say Baja? Yup, Baja. while the last trip was work of the 4 wheel variety (but still fun) the next trip will be a mix of work, but also scouting for a project I'm thinking of for early next year. The project I have in mind is to take a group of riders down to Baja and explore. Hit some of the trails that make up the Baja Divide bikepacking route, but also some of the fun side spots.

The idea of the trip will be a semi supported bikepacking ride, meaning that we'll carry most of our gear on bikes, but also there will be a re-supply vehicle covering water and food - plus someone to set up some camp basics at the end of a long day of riding. We'll do 40-50 miles of riding over 4-5 days, find some history, hit some great trails and amazing camping spots. Ride it on your bike, ride a demo Penhale bike if you want, most of all it will be all about having a great time in Baja.

While its still in the conceptual stage, If a tour like that appeals to you, sign up for our mailing list, or drop us an email at info@penhalebicycleco.com

Cheers
